Who We Are
We’re a married couple who created this site as a shared passion project. Curiosity has always been at the center of our lives. The kind of curiosity that keeps conversations going late into the night, turns everyday moments into questions, and makes the world feel endlessly fascinating.
This website is our way of sharing that curiosity with you.
Why We Started
Like many people, we found ourselves constantly asking “why?”
Why do animals behave the way they do?
Why does the human body work the way it does?
Why does history unfold the way it has?
Over time, those questions turned into a growing collection of fascinating discoveries. So we created Your Curious Mind as a home for stories that spark wonder and make knowledge feel alive.

At its core, this site is guided by a simple idea:

That’s why everything we publish is designed to:

A Personal Note from Us
Running this site together is one of our favorite parts of life.
It’s something we are building side by side, researching, writing, editing, and constantly learning along the way. Every article reflects not just information, but the genuine excitement we feel when we discover something new.
One of us has a bachelor’s degree in history, and we are both lifelong nature lovers, but we are not experts in any of the subjects we write about here on Your Curious Mind. We rely on in-depth research (more than AI and Wikipedia 😉) to gather information, but we can get things wrong or misunderstand complicated data. You should always consult an expert or do your own research before using information from Your Curious Mind.
This is not a business for us. At least not yet. We would love to one day be able to just spend our time learning and sharing knowledge, but that day is probably far in the future. We don’t sell anything, and we don’t accept donations. If you want to support the website, the best way is to simply share the knowledge here with your friends or on social media.
Why we don’t share our names: Sharing articles on the environment, science, and history is much more polarizing than we expected. We have no political agenda, but we get enough angry messages and comments on social media that we don’t feel it’s a good idea to share our names publicly on the website. We are doing this for fun, and we don’t need any drama!
